Garden of Eatin' Outdoor Kitchen

Have you ever seen the wide-eyed surprise on a child's face when they bite into a radish for the first time? Or the look of wonder when they realize we can eat all parts of plants including leaves, flowers, fruits and roots? Exciting experiences like these, and more, are about to become reality in the Garden of Eatin'.

We are very close to completing the garden. Pathways and irrigation have been installed; fruit trees, vegetable, and small fruits beds have been planted; and the pergola that will house the outdoor teaching kitchen is under construction. But the garden can't be a true "seed to table" experience without the completion of the kitchen. To accomplish this goal, we need your help to raise $50,000.

The Garden of Eatin' is scheduled to officially open on September 12 at the Harvest Festival. If we can raise $50,000 by August 1, we can complete the kitchen in time to make this a truly memorable event with cooking demonstrations, a chili cook-off, and preservation classes.

Please consider a tax-deductible donation of $50 or more to help us reach our goal.
